Agricultural Education

Every student enrolled in an agricultural education course will have the benefit of utilizing the “3-component model” of instruction. Classroom/Laboratory Instruction, Leadership
Development through FFA participation, and a Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE). These “3-components” are equal in the instructional process and are not separate; but rather operate connected and integral to one another. Class Instruction, FFA, and SAE are not independent of each other and the FFA is NOT an extracurricular club, but it is a vital part of being in the agricultural education class.

Careers in agriculture range from working in a scientific laboratory to being outdoors raising plants and animals. Agribusiness involves production, marketing, distribution and machinery.
