2nd Graders – It’s Time for R³: Reading Rally!

On Thursday, November 13, 2025, our 2nd graders will join us at Lumpkin County High School for a fun-filled literacy event! Students will meet author Eric Litwin, enjoy interactive reading activities, and each child will receive a Pete the Cat book to take home.

Back at their elementary schools, all students in PK–5th grade will participate in Drop Everything and Read, celebrating literacy and taking time to enjoy books together.

A big thank-you to the Dahlonega Sunrise & Noon Rotary Clubs and Lumpkin County Schools for making these events possible!

It's National School Nurse Day! From scraped knees and tummy aches to lending a listening ear and calming worried hearts, Nurse G is always there with compassion, care, and a smile. Her dedication to keeping our students safe, healthy, and supported is truly unmatched. Thank you, Nurse G, for all you do for our BRAVES! We love and appreciate you!

We are SO thankful for these amazing ladies—we simply couldn't function without them! They keep our school running smoothly and always do it with a smile.
