Student Travel Opportunites

At Lumpkin County Middle School, students can explore educational travel opportunities that broaden their horizons and enrich their learning beyond the classroom. These trips are designed to provide hands-on experiences, and cultural exposure, whether visiting historical landmarks, engaging in science-based adventures, or participating in leadership workshops. We aim to cultivate curiosity, global awareness, and lifelong learning through these travel experiences.

Tokyo is the modern-day center of pop culture and business, while Kyoto remains the most traditional of the big cities. The country is filled with natural beauty—see it from the window of the high-speed Shinkansen train and in the majestic lakes and mountains of Fuji-Hakone-Izu National Park.

Summer 2026 Tour “Journey Down Under”

From afar, New Zealand and Australia may seem similar. An up-close look reveals distinct cultures and personalities. Both descend from the same British colonial family tree, so you may struggle to tell the accents apart in the streets of Auckland and Sydney. But as you dig deeper into the Māori culture in Rotorua and Aboriginal roots along the Great Barrier Reef in Cairns, each country's identity becomes clear.
