It's How the Tribe Rolls on Halloween! The creativity flowed during the Annual Halloween Door Decorating Contest! Our Teacher and Student School Spirit was high. Judges were blown away by the positive culture of participation! Congrats to both Category Winners: Individual Door 1st Place- Kevin Smith's Class with "The Monster of 7-AAA at the Burial Grounds"! Department Theme 1st Place- C Hall. Excellent work and the halls looked amazing.

Lumpkin County visual art students recently visited the High Museum of Art in Atlanta. They experienced a docent led tour of the current Beatrix Potter: Drawn to Nature exhibit followed by a self led tour of the museum.

Students from the Contemporary Issues in Education class spend two days a week at Long Branch Elementary School, assisting K-2 students in Language Arts, Reading and Math. The Teaching As a Profession students have many opportunities to sharpen their skills with students.

The colors and smells of fall made it inside the culinary classroom this week! Mrs. Lincoln's students spent the day carving masterpiece pumpkins. Students learned several different techniques for carving and harvested the pumpkin seeds to roast later in the week.
