For the eighth year in a row, the Lumpkin County School System has topped the charts for one of the highest SATs scores in the state, and the Class of 2024 earned the spot for the second highest SAT score out of all Pioneer RESA school districts. The 2024 SAT scores were published by College Board this morning, and Lumpkin County High School ranked 17th in the state of Georgia (out of 182 school districts) in total score, 13th in the state on the Reading & Writing section, and 19th in the state on the Math section.

 

With a total mean score of 1076 for the Class of 2024, LC is an impressive 46 points higher than the Georgia average of 1030 and 81 points above the national average of 995.
