We are pleased to announce that Long Branch Elementary School has been identified as a Title I Reward School and has been added to the original list shared by the Georgia Department of Education (GADOE). As defined by the GADOE, “A Title I Reward School is a Title I school among the 10-percent of Title I schools in the state that is making the most progress in improving the performance of the all-students group over the most recent two years on statewide assessments.”
“Long Branch Elementary School is very deserving of this recognition by the Georgia Department of Education. Although we measure school success in many different ways, any recognition of successful student performance from the GADOE is noteworthy. Principal Jane Mullinax and her staff clearly have the social, academic, and personal needs of their students in mind each day. They have a dedicated and hard-working team of educators who work relentlessly to help students find success. This is just another way of validating their efforts and rewarding their performance.” Dr. Rob Brown
